Stuff I've done in my copious spare time.

Snow Leopards

This is the most popular part of my site, but it's not actively maintained, and the whole thing is getting a bit long in the tooth. It's at least 5 years old, if not 7 or 8, and I won't get rid of it because it's obviously useful enough to get as many hits as it does.

Real True News

This was probably my favourite university project. The original back-end was accidentally lost in a server move (d'oh), but the whole thing's been rewritten from scratch with an improved web scraper and gibberish generator. It updates its headlines about 4 times a day, but the content is fresh every time you reload. Go have a poke around and read the documentation to see what it's about. And if it's not dumb enough, there's a variation called Real True Mews that does the same thing, but adds 'cat' to the search terms. If nothing else, it makes for some dumb pictures.

Web Design Postcards

A web design activism site, Wish You Were Here aims to provide tips to web site maintainers (old and new) with a series of topics presented in postcard format, complete with 2-cent stamps. It had its 15 minutes of fame shortly after release when I asked for a site-test on a web design mailing list I read, and somehow got linked on about 900 blogs and websites, which pleased me no end. Since then, the site has been expanded with new tips and updated to provide useful links with each postcard to help web designers find out more on a particular topic and how to improve their sites.
